Charity Week ISOC

Charity Week – City, University of London Islamic Society

£2,744 of £10,000 raised

A WORLD SAFE FOR EVERY CHILD – Right now, children in places like Syria and Yemen are caught up in violent conflict. They are fleeing war and disaster in greater numbers than at any time since World War 2. And in countries such as Pakistan/Kashmir, children have seen their communities destroyed by natural disasters like earthquakes and flooding.

That’s why as part of our work to tackle poverty and help build sustainable communities across the globe, Charity Week has been calling on people up and down the country to fundraise to support our child-focused projects. All funds raised will go towards countries such as Syria, Yemen and Kashmir. We aim to provide Food Parcels and Fresh Clean Water.

£30 will provide a family of six with enough nutritious food to keep them nourished for one whole month.

£30 will provide a vulnerable families with fresh clean water.

The Prophet of Allah (May Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
“Whoever removes a grief from a believer from amongst the sorrows of this life, Allah will remove a grief from him amongst the sorrows of the Day of Resurrection.” (Sahih Muslim)
