Haleema’s Helvellyn Trek For Orphans
Salaam Alaikum, I’m Haleema and In’sha’allah I will be trekking Helvellyn in the Lake District on the 20th August with Crisis Aid. This is to raise funds for those less fortunate, orphans in Gambia.
I have always tried to do what I can to help those in need as charity is an obligation upon us as muslims and I want to do more by taking on this challenge as this will make a huge difference to those in need so this is the perfect opportunity which I am grateful for. The funds raised will have a major impact for orphans as this will meet basic needs such as food, shelter and education.
‘The Messenger (ﷺ) said, “The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this”, and he held his two fingers together to illustrate’.
You can support me while I train to climb this mountain by contributing to my fundraising page to help me reach my goal of £300, which will sponsor 1 orphan for a year.
I would appreciate if you could help me in raising funds for orphans, please donate generously.
