Sadaqah Jaariyah for Mohsin

£940 of £3,000 raised

Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Illaihi Raji’un

“The eyes are shedding tears and the heart is grieved, and we will not say except what pleases our Lord”

Just one month ago on 2 December, our dear Akhi Mohsin returned to our Creator after battling a rare but extremely aggressive form of brain cancer called Glioblastoma.

Mohsin passed peacefully at home in the arms of his devoted wife Rohima, and their beloved daughters Inaaya, Arissa and Eyva.

Mohsin is many things to many people. A wonderful friend, a dutiful son, a special uncle, the perfect husband and a super hero father to his children to name but a few.

Mohsins love for his faith was unwavering. He was humble, selfless, kind and always had the time to help others whilst carrying his legendary beautiful smile. He was a true gentleman who cherished his life, his duties and lived for his wife and children. His loss has had an immeasurable yet profound impact on all who knew him especially his grieving young family.

The measure of a person is how much you do for them when they are unable to do anything for you and it is for this reason we would like to raise funds in the loving memory of Mohsin in order to benefit those less fortunate and privileged around the world.

The donations will be apportioned by his family for ongoing sadaqa jaariya projects.

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) emphasised the importance of caring for orphans in particular: “The best household among the Muslims is a household wherein an orphan is treated well” (Ibn Majah)
