Crisis Aid have been operating across Syria since 2013 and are renowned for providing aid in regions where other aid agencies refuse to go. With the help of our partners on the ground we are able to reach Aleppo’s most vulnerable and provide relief to those trapped inside the city. For just £20 you can help feed a family of six for a month.
The city of Aleppo has been subject to violent shelling and destruction since the start of 2016. Currently home to a population of almost 400,000, Aleppo is composed mainly of women, children, and elderly people. Aleppo continues to burn amid a brutal war without an end in sight. Concerns are growing for the hundreds of thousands of people trapped in a city where food, water and medical aid are increasingly scarce.
Despite the Syrian government’s plan to open “humanitarian corridors” to distribute food and medical supplies to civilians, and provide them an opportunity to flee the city, the fighting has continued relentlessly. As a result many aid agencies simply cannot reach those most in need.
