Sustainable Livelihoods Project

Provide the bread-winner of a poor family with the means to be able to earn an income on a daily basis, thereby lifting an entire family out of poverty on a long term basis.  Crisis Aid has helped dozens of families find a way out of poverty by providing them with a donkey, cart, water barrel and pipe.  These materials have enabled the recipient to collect water from a well and circulate the towns and villages selling the water to those who need it.  The donkey and carts have also been used as a taxi service for other poor families, an ambulance service for poor sick patients as well as for the transport of construction materials and grocery store items.
