Providing people with the gift of sight is indeed one of the most beneficial gifts one can give to the poor and needy.  Sponsor our Cataract Eye Camps to enable 1,000 screenings and consultations, 250-300 cataract surgeries as well as the distribution of free medication and glasses.  Mauritania is prone to severe sand storms and the sun’s rays are extremely strong throughout the year, which inevitably leads to a huge variety of eye problems, often resulting in extremely poor vision or complete blindness.  Our fully qualified and professional team are also able to make referrals for other non-cataract related eye problems.
