Fresh Bread Every Day for Families in Need

Rohingya families living in the refugee camps of Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, continue to face hunger and food shortages.

This bakery project will provide fresh bread every day to families who need it most.

The bakery will produce 1,800 fresh loaves every day, providing 360 families with 5 loaves each. Around 1,800 people will benefit from the project.

How Your Donation Helps

It costs £1,800 each month to keep the bakery running. This covers flour, ingredients, gas, staff wages, packaging, cleaning, transport and rent.

Who Will Receive the Bread?

Bread will be distributed to Rohingya families in Cox’s Bazar, with priority given to widows, orphans and families suffering from hunger and malnutrition.

More Than Just Bread

The bakery will also provide jobs for three Rohingya refugees, giving them an income and the opportunity to learn bakery skills.
