In Gaza, many people have lost their limbs due to ongoing conflict. Behind every amputation is a person whose life changed in a single moment. A father who can no longer work. A mother who struggles to care for her children. A child who cannot walk, run or return to school.
For most families in Gaza, the cost of a prosthetic limb is impossible to afford. Medical services are limited and specialised fittings require skilled professionals and proper materials. Without support, many amputees remain housebound, unable to work or fully participate in society.
