Malawi Water Well

1 Water well (Depths 80-85 meters): £3,600.00

1 in 3 people in Malawi do not have access to clean drinking water. The few boreholes they have are drying up. Based on international standards, six per cent of the population has access to a sanitation facility. Crisis Aid does not build water wells and move on. We have contracts in place to make sure the wells and pumps continue to function year on year. Please donate generously so we can provide water for the men, women and children of Malawi.

Can I Donate in Honor of Someone?

Absolutely! Donating in honor of a loved one is a meaningful way to celebrate their life, achievements, or commemorate special occasions. Crisis Aid will provide a personalized certificate acknowledging your gift in their honor. This is a beautiful gesture that leaves a lasting impact on the lives of many, reflecting the spirit and values of the person you choose to honor.

How Will I Know the Impact of My Donation?

Transparency and accountability are core to our mission at Crisis Aid. After your donation, we will keep you updated with regular reports and updates about the project's progress, including photos and stories from the communities your generosity has touched. We also invite donors to visit the project sites (where possible) to see firsthand the incredible difference their contributions make. By seeing the direct impact of your donation, we hope to foster a deeper connection between our donors and the communities we serve.

Why Should I Donate to the Water Well/Pump Project?
Access to clean and safe drinking water is a fundamental human right, yet millions around the world lack this basic necessity. Your donation to the Water Well/Pump project by Crisis Aid will directly contribute to constructing sustainable water sources in communities suffering from water scarcity. This not only improves health by reducing waterborne diseases but also supports local agriculture, education, and overall economic development by freeing up time that would otherwise be spent on fetching water from distant sources.
How Does My Donation Help?
Every penny of your donation goes toward funding the costs associated with the water well/pump projects. This includes surveying for the best locations, drilling, installing the pump, and maintaining the infrastructure. Moreover, part of your donation supports community training on water management and sanitation practices to ensure the longevity and sustainability of the water source. By donating, you are providing a lifeline to communities and creating a ripple effect of positive change.
