Containers – In kind donations

In kind donations are physical donations given to Crisis Aid to be sent via shipping container around the world. We mostly ask for clothes, food, medicine, blankets, and other such items.

All such donations have a 100% donation policy. However we sometimes retain 10% of used clothes donations to cover shipping costs of that container. Occasionally generous donors pay for the container shipping or we have funds within the administration to cover its costs.

We only collect such donations during specific container campaigns, which are about eight times a year. Please keep your eyes on our social media outlets for dates of container campaigns.

If we receive clothes after a container has left, we will either recycle them and keep any funds for administration purposes or if possible keep them for the next container campaign.

We can arrange collections for large amounts of clothes, foods, medicine and blankets that will not fit into a car load. Please call us on 01582 211 066 or email us at [email protected] and we will arrange the collection. Alternatively you can drop off your donations at our warehouse at:

Crisis Aid
Unit 21 Progress Park, Ribocon Way, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU4 9UR.

You can also drop your donations at any one of our drop off points mentioned in the poster you received. If you want to find a local rep for Crisis Aid near you please look at our ‘contact us’ page.

Please be certain to get your donations in before the deadline date otherwise your donations will miss the container. The deadline dates are on the posters you receive.
