السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved father, Tosif Ahmed Khan.
After being quite ill and spending time at the hospital, he returned to his Creator.
His loss has left a deep void in our lives, but we are determined to honor his memory in a way that reflects the kind, humble, and generous person he was.
In his name, we are raising money to help build a mosque that will serve the community for generations to come. This project will be a form of Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity), meaning every prayer, every word of Qur’an recited, and every act of worship in that space will count as a continuous reward for him, Insha’Allah.
The Prophet ﷺ Said,
When the human being dies, his deeds end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.” Sahih Muslim 1631
