Sadaqa Jariya For Shah Mohammad Mobossir

£605 of £1,250 raised

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم An uncle from our local community Shah Mohammad Mobossir has recently returned back to his Lord (May Allah Have Mercy On Him) He was only 50 years old Subhanallah.

May Allah Grant him the loftiest of places in Jannah Tul Firdouse and grant his family patience. Ameen! Alhamdulillah i have spoken to his son and we have created this charity appeal in his name. It will be a sadaqa jariya (ongoing charity) for him Insha’Allah.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased).” (Sahih Muslim) We are trying to raise £1000 for a Deep Waterwell and £250 for a waterpump to be built in a poor village in Bangladesh.

This will not only quench the thirst of poor Bangladesh people but also many Rohingyan refugees too Insha’Allah. So Insha’Allah for every sip a person takes out of this waterwell; He Insha’Allah will be rewarded.

Subhanallah imagine the rewards and the du’as he will be receiving even after he has passed away. Alhamdulillah! Let’s work together and make this dream a reality brothers and sisters. Donate what you can and after that pass this link on to your family and friends. Let’s share in this reward and do something positive and good for our Uncle رحمه الله‎‎ May Allah accept it from us all. Ameen!

——————————————————————-

Here’s some more info regarding the appeal…. Rohingya & Bangladesh Water well The average person drinks between 5-9 glasses of water per day. Unfortunately for many around the world, even a drop of water is a luxury they cannot afford. Hundreds of thousands of people called the Rohingya have been fleeing the genocide against them In Myanmar and have become displaced in neighbouring Bangladesh, where they lack the essentials of life, especially water. The acute lack of water means that the little water available is shared amongst tens of thousands of refugees increasing the risks of contamination and the spread of water-borne diseases such as cholera and diarrhoea.

Every year over 3 million people die from these water bourn diseases around the world. The UNCHR’s public health officer Hervé Isambert has warned that “An outbreak can start at anytime.” Our Rohingya Muslim brothers and sisters are still not safe in Bangladesh and so it is essential that we help them with more water sources to help sustain their shattered lives and avert an impending disaster.

Bangladesh Flood Victims

£885 of £5,000 raised

As-Salaam Alikum. The floods in Bangladesh are thought to be the most severe in 100 years. The flood inundation has submerged houses, wells, latrines and agricultural lands disrupting basic services and forcing families to seek shelter.

Thousands of families are facing severe shortage of food, drinking water and sanitation which can result in outbreak of widespread waterborne diseases. Children are also highly vulnerable to snake bites and drowning in such situations..

do we really need to describe this in any more detail? Prophet Muhammad (sallalahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “Whoever relieves a believer’s distress of the distressful aspects of this world, Allah will rescue him from a difficulty of the difficulties of the Hereafter.

Whoever alleviates [the situation of] one in dire straits who cannot repay his debt, Allah will alleviate his lot in both this world and in the Hereafter.

Whoever conceals [the faults of] a Muslim, Allah will conceal [his faults] in this life and the Hereafter. (Muslim) Will you Stand-up for the Flood Victims in Bangladesh? Please donate generously and help us raise £5000. May Allah SWT reward you immensely.

Yemen’s Fundraising Page

£40 of £5,000 raised

Yemen is the largest humanitarian crisis in the world, with more than 24 million people – some 80 per cent of the population – in need of humanitarian assistance, including more than 12 million children.

Since the conflict escalated in March 2015, the country has become a living hell for the country’s children. With COVID-19 now spreading rapidly, Yemen is facing an emergency within an emergency.

Sanitation and clean water are in short supply. Only half of health facilities are functioning, and many that remain operational lack basic equipment like masks and gloves, let alone oxygen and other essential supplies to treat the coronavirus. Many health workers are receiving no salaries or incentives, and 10.2 million children do not have access to basic healthcare.

Children continue to be killed and maimed in the conflict, while the damage and closure of schools and hospitals has disrupted access to education and health services, leaving children even more vulnerable and robbing them of their futures. Before COVID-19, around 2 million children were out of school.

Now, because of the pandemic, schools have been closed around the country, leaving some 7.8 million children unable to access education.

As the coronavirus spreads, tens of thousands more children could develop life-threatening severe acute malnutrition over the next six months, while the overall number of malnourished children under the age of five could increase to a total of 2.4 million. Let’s stand altogether side by side and help our brothers and sisters survive this brutal war.

People are on the brink of Starvation in Yemen. Almost 24 million people in Yemen are food insecure, while an estimated quarter of a million are on the brink of starvation.

Yemen is the largest humanitarian crisis in the world, with more than 24 million people in need of humanitarian assistance, including more than 12 million children. With COVID-19 now spreading rapidly, Yemen is facing an emergency within an emergency.

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The example of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body.

When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.” (Bukhari & Muslim) Also the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said in part of a Hadith, “Whoever relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Resurrection.

Whoever helps ease one in difficulty, Allah will make it easy for him in this world and in the Hereafter.

Allah helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. (Muslim) So what about the people of Yemen? It is upon us to do what we can to aid the people of Yemen, we as Muslims cannot turn away from them and those suffering in their hour of need.

May Allah rectify the affairs of the Muslims, may He return peace, stability and safety to the Muslim lands and unite the Muslims upon Tawheed

Zain’s Urgent Aid for Yemen

£2,163 of £3,000 raised

Yemen is currently experiencing the worlds worst humanitarian crisis in this last century.

Yemen is suffering from an epidemic [cholera], three pandemics [COVID 19, economic downturn & 5 constant years of war – now approaching its 6th] as well as famine.

The country is on the brink of extinction. So now more than ever is important to come together to donate & aid if possible. -about 80% of the country (24 million people) needs some sort of humanitarian assistance. -18 million lack access to clean water. -2 million children are malnourished. -every 10 minutes a child dies I please urge you all from the bottom of my heart to please donate whatever you can. Whether it be pennies or a couple of pounds.

May this act of charity be an act of Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity) for you:

The prophet Muhammad صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ (peace and blessings be upon him) Said when a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased).” (Sahih Muslim) May this act of charity Elevate Your Status:

Prophet Muhammad, صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Charity does not in any way decrease the wealth and the servant who forgives, Allah adds to his respect; and the one who shows humility, Allah elevates him in the estimation (of the people).” (Sahih Muslim) Please keep the people of Yemen in your prayers ❤ Any extra donations will be contributed to other donors attempting to support Yemen.
